It is hard to believe that the 2018 Digital Advice Conference is over and we’re already planning for next year! Our attendance nearly doubled in 2018 and, based on survey feedback, we are excited to welcome a bunch of folks back in 2019.

The Future of Digital Advice

Our Founder and CEO, Mike Kerins and Apex CEO Bill Capuzzi shared their vision for the future and how investing in digital advice can save time and help keep pace with the ever-changing financial landscape.

Advancing and Growing Your Practice

A common theme emerged at the Digital Advice Conference: better serving clients.
. We heard from a powerful women’s panel on ways to adjust communication to better connect with your clients; especially females.

Some of our favorite tactics were:

  • Rearranging meeting space to be more approachable
  • Utilizing personality tests to find the best communication methods for each client
  • Focusing on each individual client – not stereotyping their needs

Attracting Millennials

Reaching Millennials is a unique challenge for advisors. Alan Moore, Co-Founder of XYPN, and John Augenblick, President of Rockwood Wealth Management, shared how they attract millennials not only as clients but as employees. They taught us about segmenting your practice to accommodate the millennial client and what benefits rank of high importance to the millennial employee.
